Hey guys & Happy Wednesday! Today I’m back with another Was it Worth it Wednesday post!

I’ve been looking at old pictures and I’ve been missing my long hair so much. I feel like my short hair suits me, but long hair is so fun, especially for summer! I did some research on hair masks, supplements for hair, how to make your hair grow, etc.  I found this DIY coconut oil hair mask, and it seemed like the easiest thing I could do right at that moment, and thats exactly what I was looking for.

Do you guys like long hair or short hair better? Let me know!

I used the organic coconut oil from Amazon, that I use to remove my makeup every night. I sectioned my hair off into about four sections and covered my hair, focusing more on the ends, but also spreading it all the way to the roots. I then wrapped it up into a bun and left it in for about 30 minutes.

I read online to put your shampoo in before you wet your hair so the shampoo could really get the oil out. So thats what I did. I noticed as soon as I got my hair wet to wash out the shampoo my hair felt like straw. It was so knotty and it felt more dry than it did before the mask!! I was so confused on to why this happened, because there were so many good reviews on this mask. So I washed it all out then I used my conditioner, but I conditioned twice, because I couldn’t stand the feeling of my hair!

The next day, I noticed my hair being oily at the roots, which I kind of expected. But there was no difference in the freshness of my ends, and my hair didn’t feel more moisturized at all!

This mask isn’t hard to do, and I don’t think I messed anything up. Have you guys ever done this mask? Has it worked for you? Did I do something wrong? Let me know!

Overall Rating: 3/10

As of now, I think I will stick with putting my Moroccan oil in my hair after I shower! Let me know what you guys think of this mask if you’ve tried it before!

Ok I got two hair growth treatments for you. The first one I know works 100% because I’ve been using it for years. The second one I just tried today so we will see in time. Ok 1st one:
Wash your hair. Take 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar and massage into your scalp for at least 5 minutes. Do not rinse. Take a tablespoon of rosemary oil & massage into your scalp for at least 5 minutes. Do not rinse. Take coconut oil, which you just had a bad experience with, & put it in your hair but not on your scalp. Leave all that in for at least an hour or longer. I’ve slept with it in before. Ok 2nd one:
Take 2 cups of water & 1/2 cup flax seeds. Put in the stove and bring to a boil. Stir, but not constantly, but enough so that the seeds don’t stick to the pot. You will see a whiteish skim on the top as it boils. Stir for about a minute, minute and a half. Take off the heat & strain it through a mesh strainer. What comes out looks like egg whites & is similar consistency. Ok once that is done, take three tablespoons of that flax seed gel, two tablespoons of olive oil & two tablespoons of almond milk. Add it to dry hair. All over & on your scalp. Leave in for at least an hour preferably longer.

Sorry so long of a comment. Let me know if you use either of these & if they work for you!!
